12 minutes of some seriously idiotic driving in Poland. This E92 M3 driver is of the mind of "if there is no space, I will make the space" type of driving. Very dangerous, but exceedingly entertaining to watch.

NOTE: I DO NOT CONDONE THIS TYPE OF DRIVING!!

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . This falls squarely on the idiot side. Don't be an idiot.

UPDATE: I don't speak Polish, but someone on the Reddit thread where this was posted offered up !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Hooning BMWs on public roads is a thing in Eastern Europe I guess.

Poland can into asshattery!

And kurwa, he's fcking insane. If I was driving there as a normal citizen and I saw him jammed up my trumpet, I would purposely block any gaps to allow him to pass. Jesus that's dangerous.

Some really insane moves in this vid, at speed nonetheless.

I mean, it's a thing everywhere. Seems the Europeans tend to take it to the next level though.

I am surprised the guy had the common decency not to blow though the red lights. Probably will end up flipped over a median on fire. I just hope they don't harm anyone when they do.

I thought it wouldn't be that bad. But I was wrong. By 0:55, my heart was already in my mouth - eek that sidewalk was really close...

It really is bad. I think he drove on the sidewalk in a couple parts.

And now, to demonstrate the RIGHT way to do it, here's a session of me on Thunderbolt from last Tuesday:

Nice! What group were you driving with?

Is that a short throw kit? I always enjoy how very few gear changes are required on Thunderbolt, depending on the car. Looks like an E92 is just about perfect in 4th/5th for most of the back section. Very nice!

BMW CCA, NJ chapter. Green (advanced) run group. It was a cool event - they ran club races (45ish min. sprints) between the student groups and had a big banquet at the track at the end of the first day. PLUS they gave us polo shirts, which were much fancier than the usual short or long sleeved t-shirt lol. I was also at the track the Sunday prior for the SCCA pro-IT, Pirelli World Challenge, Trans Am and ARCA races, so it was a long three days out in the sun. Exhausting, but totally worth it.

Yeah NJMP is one of those places you gotta bring some shade with you if you want it. I learned that the hard way last summer on one of those 98 degree days.

Nope, totally stock shifter! Yeah actually the vast majority of the track is done in 4th. I'm up to 5 on the straight, down to 4 for turn 1, then down to 3 for turn 5, right back up to 4 again until turn 9, downshift to 3, back up to 4 before 11A/B and then hammer down onto the straight. Very simple, surprisingly!

Hahaha no kidding. You should see my car when it's loaded. I have 4 tires standing up across the back seat, my track box/tools/chairs/clothes in the trunk and a 10x10 EZ-up buckled in in the front passenger seat. It's a real circus, but the shade is so necessary. Good thing I bought an E90 I guess. My friend does the tires the same way in his E92 and it looks like a real pain in the ass =)

Yup, I remember being in 4th and 5th for pretty much the entire track in the E30 M3.

Oh yea! Would love to see your track-day setup all laid out. I know a guy who used to drive his Z4 to the track with pretty much everything BUT tires!

He ran a couple reds. If I'm to believe the reddit thread I found this on; the car has subsequently been wrecked. No shit.

That is not even the most ass hat of driving that I have seen in Poland. There is a reason 1 person dies on the road I drive to work every single week. The polish are in a race against the world when they get in their cars or on their bikes. The kids are even in a race on their big wheels. Funny thing about them, when they get out of their car or off their motorcycle they doddle around as slow as possible. It would seem that they could balance that out.

That is a SWEET z4! I have a friend with a red one (an 07) who actually installed a hitch for a tire trailer. He puts a big box on there too that contains his tools and a cooler. It's pretty perfect. Here's a pic:

And here's one of my stuff (and my friend's stuff) scattered about at Lightning.

Kinja'd!!!

When all that crap is loaded it makes it look like I lowered the rear of the car only, which is hilarious. Sweet wheel gap bro! lol

Kinja'd!!!

It's a royal pain in the ass to get everything packed away after the end of a two-day event (especially a hot one). I think the time is drawing close when I'm going to stop tracking the E90 and buy either a track car/trailer or a seat in a race car owned by someone else. As I get faster it becomes more and more obvious to me how stupid it is to run and insure a relatively expensive street car at like 12 track days a year when I could be doing real racing. That, and my car is never going to get a cage and race seats. It's too nice to turn into a race car.

Too nice...for now. Keep tracking it and you'll be ready to rip out the interior in short order!! And yeah, I was sad when the guy I know sold his Z4. Coincidentally, another guy brought by ANOTHER track'd out Z4 only a few weeks later.
